This year’s Dhiraagu Maldives Road Race (DMRR) marked our fifth consecutive collaboration with Dhiraagu, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. We deployed our most advanced sound system yet, featuring state-of-the-art d&b audiotechnik technology, including the latest d&b ArrayCalc software. With precise attention to technical details, our aim was to ensure that every runner and spectator felt the heart-pounding energy of the event.
For the 2024 DMRR, the setup was comprehensive and consistent. The main PA system, delay towers, and side fills were all equipped with d&b audiotechnik, delivering crystal-clear, high-energy sound throughout Central Park. This uniform setup enabled seamless coverage, so no matter where you were among the 4,000+ runners and spectators, the sound quality was immersive and powerful, setting the perfect tone to kickstart the race.
Our dedicated team of expert engineers, led by Mr. Jinan, meticulously planned and executed the sound deployment using d&b ArrayCalc. This sophisticated software allowed us to precisely calibrate the sound coverage, ensuring every listener heard the same quality and intensity, regardless of their position in the park. Jinan and his team tackled unique challenges, such as managing temperature, human body heat, and limited space, all while preserving the integrity of the client’s branding elements around the start-finish tower. Subwoofers and arrays were integrated seamlessly into the branded areas, guaranteeing that both sound performance and visual impact remained uncompromised.
Achieving this level of sound quality was no small feat, but with the advanced capabilities of d&b audiotechnik and our team’s commitment to excellence, we were able to deliver.
